M. 14 Nov 1822 to Levi Hopkins

!BIRTH: 1850 census (husband, Levi Hopkins, Tate Twp., Clermont, OH; #720) They lived next to Nelson Newkirk's family that included Nelson's mother-in-law (and Betsy's mother), Diana HICKS; the census states Betsy's birthplace is NC.

!MARRIAGE: Cler. Co., Ohio mar. rec. (v 2, p 37 or 47)

!DEATH: Alive at the time of the 1850 census; she may be the Elizabeth HOPKINS listed in the 1900 census (Zanesville, Muskingum, Ohio) the birth date of June 1804 is consistent with the 1850 census; however, the 1900 census lists her birthplace as MD, not NC. This could be due to her being a boarder living with an apparently unrelated family.
