William George, was in [Southwestern Virginia] prior to the Revolution and migated from Tazewell, VA to what was Indiana Territory before 1810 into what is now Franklin County, Indiana. It is said he was a scout and in the Revolutionary War according to family history and as of now, this has not been proven.
