William George of Indiana

A William George is said to have gone from Tazewell County VA to Franklin County Indiana sometime before 1810.

This could be the William George identified as living in the Upper Clinch watershed, but conclusive evidence is needed. He is probably NOT the William George said to have been from Lee County in 1797.

One or the other could be the William George who went to Indiana, but we don't have enough data to tell which.

There are marriage records in Montgomery County identifying a William George marrying a Jennet Patton. This William george was a store keeper in Tazwell, and is said to have died there in 1810.
