William, John and Samuel Craig to James Gamble, £45, 247 acres in 2 tracts; 202 acres is part of 335 acres patented to Alexander Craig, 10th September, 1765, the other 45 acres patented to Alexander 5th June, 1765, which he devised by will dated 1st May, 1764, to wife Margaret and sons William and John; but Margaret has since deceased, the sole property descended to William and John, on a branch of Middle River, said Gamble's old corner. Tract of 45 adjoins above, hill near Craig's old house; corner to Alexander Blays; William Frame's line. Teste: John Archer, Rebecca ( ) Archer, William Frame. Executors, John Poage and beloved brother Thomas Bell and son Robert Gamble. Teste: James Bell, William Frame, William Young. Proved, 15th May, 1781, by the witnesses, and Robert Gamble qualifies.
- Vol. 1 - MAY, 1779 (A). - Isaac Zane vs. Wm. Frame.--Petition on account, 1767 to 1774. Writ, 28th March, 1774. Defendant is Widow Frame's son and lives near Stone Meeting House.

William Frame born ca 1725 in Pennsylvania, married Susanna (Erwin?) ca 1745 in Augusta Co., Virginia. Susanna was born in 1727, the daughter of Matthew Erwin and Elizabeth Patterson. William owned 400 acres of land on Naked Creek near Staunton, Virginia. He later received a land grant for another 150 acres adjoining his lands. William was named as an administrator of Matthew Erwin's Will. This however does not prove that William is Matthew's son in law, as the Will did not name Susanna in it. William also was witness to many other documents during this time frame. William died in 1782 or 1783 in Augusta Co., Virginia. His Will is said to have been probated in Augusta Co., Virginia on 03 May 1783 (Need proof of said Will). Susanna migrated to Kentucky with her family. She was listed in the 1787 Fayette Co., Kentucky Census as Head of household. Susanna died on 29 August 1814 in Clark Co., Kentucky. William and Susanna's children were:
- 1. Esther Frame, born: ca 1746 in Augusta Co., Virginia. Esther was baptized on 23 Jan 1746/47 in Augusta Co., Virginia.
- 2. Jennett Frame, born: ca 1747 in Augusta Co., Virginia. Jennett was baptized on 19 Jul 1747 in Augusta Co., Virginia. Note: Could Jennett really be Mary Jenette Frame? There was a Mary Frame who married James Kenney in Bourbon Co., Kentucky in 1814. Mary was born on 14 May 1747. James her husband was born in 1752 in Augusta Co., Virginia. When Mary died she was buried in the Kenney Cemetery, located on Stoner Creek, near to where Jeremiah was located. This Mary was not the daughter of John and Margaret Frame as that Mary was baptized in 1741/42.
- 3. Elizabeth Frame, born: ca 1749 in Augusta Co., Virginia. Elizabeth was baptized on 02 Jul 1749 in Augusta Co., Virginia, married James Morrow. James was born ca 1752. Elizabeth and James migrated to Kentucky from Virginia ca 1775 (Genealogies of Kentucky Families). Their children were (Thank you Don Norman):
- a. William Morrow, born: 1774, VA
- b. James Morrow, born: 1775, VA or KY
- c. Thomas Morrow, born: 1777, KY
- d. Jane Morrow, born: 04 Jan 1778 in Virginia. She married James Browning, Col. ca 1795 James was born on 02 October 1768. Jane and James made their home on a farm in Clark Co., Kentucky. Jane died on 04 Jan 1864, and James died on 07 Jul 1825, both in Clark Co., Kentucky. (Genealogies of Kentucky Families, pg. 184). Children: Edwin C. Browning.
- e. John Morrow, born: 1785, KY
- f. Robert Morrow, born: 1787, KY. He married Margaret Trimble. Children: Miranda Morrow.
- g. Mary Morrow, born: 1788, KY
- h. Elizabeth Morrow, born: 1790, KY
- i. Christopher Morrow, born: 1791, KY
