Morris on Wednesday of last week and gave her a pleasant surprise, they spent the day in visiting and tearing and sewing carpet rags. All brought their lunch basket with them and a jolly good time is reported. In the party were Mesdames Orville Long, G.B. Miner, Harrison Long, William Mund, Clifford Smith, Z.E. Clark, A.N. Benzie Banner; 1915 ---- Researched; Dec. 1999 Feb. 18,- Liberty Union; Mesdames Clark, Moody, Kagey and Morris, visited Thursday of last week with Mrs. Harrison Long. Jul. 15,- Liberty Union; Mrs. Z.E. Clark and son Truman left Saturday for Manistee to spend a week with her son, Delos and other relatives. Jul. 15,- Liberty Union; Mrs. Z.E. Clark and son, Truman returned home Saturday from a weeks visit with friends and relatives at Manistee. Aug. 5,- Liberty Union; On Saturday evening Mrs. Z. E. Clark after her evening chores were done thought she would run down and chat a few minutes with Mrs. Moody and when she returned a short time later, she found a few of her neighbors had taken possession of her home. She went to work to help make the evening a pleasant one but when her friends kept coming until they numbered 130 she began to think that some one must have known it was her birthday, however she soon rallied and with the help of her husband was giving everyone a hearty welcome. Games were enjoyed by the younger ones while the older ones listened to music on the gramophone and had a general good time. The supper was certainly one of the best. Mrs. Clark received some nice presents among them a beautiful rocker, a present from her husband. After spending a pleasant evening, all bid her farewell and wished her many happy returns of the day.
