The Manistee News Advocate; Mon. May 7, 1945 Manistee Museum; Death Takes Delos Clark; A heart attack; proved fatal Saturday afternoon at 3:30 to Delos Clark, 67, at his home 186 Cleveland St. Mr. Clark was born in Elgin, Ill., and came here to make his home 65 years ago. He was a railroad employe for 43 years, being a car inspector for the Pere Marquette railroad for 26 years. Fraternally he was a member of the Manistee Masonic Blue Lodge No. 228. He and his wife celebrated their silver Wedding anniversary 16 years ago. Surviving are his widow, Emma; three daughters, Mrs S. Sorenson of Milwaukee, Mrs. W. Parson and Mrs. J. O. Dukes of Savannah, Ga.; A son Nelson in the U.S. Marines stationed at San Francisco; two grandchildren and numerous other relitves. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 from the LaValle funeral home with the Rev. Raymond Boadway officiating. Burial will be in the Trinity Cemetery. Manistee, MI.
