Manstee Library Manistee Co., Michigan Manistee Advicate; 1978 --------------------------------- Apr. 28,- "Obituary Nelson Clark" ----- Nelson W. Clark, 66, of 534 Davis St. died Friday at West Shore Hospital. He was born Aug. 18, 1912 in Manistee to Delose and Emma Clark. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II in the Pacific Theatre. He was a former employee of the C and O railroad and retired from the Packaging Corporation of America. Mr. Clark was a Communicant of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church, a member of the St. Joseph's Civic Club, Manistee Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie # 1765 and the Veterans of Forgen Wars Walsh Post # 4499. Mr. Clark is survived by his wife, Bernadine, one sister Mrs. Doris Sorenson of Milwaukee, Wisc; and several neices and nephews. He was preceeded in death by two sisters, Mrs Phyllis Dukes and Mrs. George Parson; a son Nelson Jr. The family will be at Herbert Funeral Home Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

The  St. Joseph's  Cicic  Club  will  Pray  Rosary  Sunday  at  7:30 p.m.  at  the  funeral  home.   Mass  of  the  Christian  Burial  will  be  celebrated  Monday  at  10 a.m.  at  the  St. Joseph's  Catholic  Church.  The  Celebrant  will  be  Rex  James  Suchock.  Military  graveside  services  will  be  conducted  by  the  V. F. W. Post  # 4499  at  the  Mount  Carmel  Cemetery.
