Mar. 17,- Liberty Union; On Tuesday evening, March 7, the neighbors and friends gathered at the home of T. P. Redding with cakes and pies Truman Clark and D. H. Moody with their phonographs, as a reminder of Mr. Reddings forty-ninth birthday. The crowd was entertained most agreeably with music by Messers Clark and Moody with a few selected pieces on the piano by Miss Winfred Reeding. C. M. Bishop spoke, advertising his famous paring machine. A lap supper was served at a late hour. Z. E. Clark won the prize as tea drinker. Shortly after twelve o'clock, Mr. Bishop gave the home call, and Mrs. W. A. Eastman called for a song. "God be with you till we mee again," which all united in singing. Mr. Clark was born 8/24/1884 in MI. the son of Mr. & Mrs. Zenos Clark , and was a longtime resident of Benzonia. Surviving are a brother Golden , and a nephew Arthur , both of Benzonia. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m Wednesday at the Benzonia Twp. Cemetery.
