Walter Woodfield was born in 1880 at Warwick and baptised there at the parish church of St Nicholas on 12th September 1880. He was the son of a laundress named Emma Woodfield, formerly Bastock, and her husband Edward Samuel Woodfield, a carpenter. Sadly Walter died as a baby when he was just five months old, being buried at Warwick Cemetery on 29th January 1881.
