Arthur Woodfield was born in 1879 and baptised there at the parish church of St Nicholas on 13th April 1879. He was the son of a laundress named Emma Woodfield, formerly Bastock, and her husband Edward Samuel Woodfield, a carpenter. Arthur appears in each census from 1881 to 1901 living with his parents and siblings at Paradise Street, in the Packmores area of Warwick. By 1901 he was working as a tailor. He has yet to be researched after 1901.
