Mrs.. Vivian Bulla Coble BURLINGTON — Mrs.. Vivian Bulla Coble, 89, of 1262 Antioch Church Road, died at 6:08 a.m. Monday, June 17, 2002, at her residence after several years of declining health.

A native of Alamance County, she was the loving wife of the late Fred Martin Coble, and the daughter of the late Franklin Michaux Bulla and Margaret Shoffner Bulla. She was a homemaker and was retired from Isley Hosiery. She was a member of Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church, the Fellowship Sunday school class and was a member of the Golden Nuggets.

Survivors include two daughters, Ms. Margaret C. Burgess of Burlington and Mrs.. Paulette McPherson and husband, Steve, of Burlington; four sons, Mr. Willard G. Coble and wife, Mona, and Mr. Ronnie G. Coble and wife, Sherry, all of Burlington, Mr. Howard F. Coble and wife, Elizabeth, of Clearwater, Fla., and Mr. Gene Ray Coble and wife, Gloria of Alma, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs.. Pauline Sharpe and Mrs.. Mattie Lou Capps, both of Burlington, and Mrs.. Jacksie Smith of Elon; and two brothers, Mr. Ben F. Bulla of Graham and Mr. James L. Bulla of Burlington.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Joey Coble; two sisters, Una Mae Graves and Ruby Lee Maness; and two brothers, Raymond Bulla and Colon M. Bulla.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church by the Rev. Rick Moser, and the Rev. Steve Loy. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will be at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home in Graham from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and at other times at the residence.
