GRAHAM - Mr. Fred Martin Coble, 88, of 1262 Antioch Church Road., Burlington died 1:15 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, 1996, at his residence, after 5 years declining health and 2 weeks critical illness. Funeral will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church by Rev. Rick Moser, Pastor and Rev. Raymond Webb, Pastor Emeritus, Antioch Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church Cemetery. Born in Alamance County, son of the late William Martin Coble and Annie Payne Coble, he was a retired textile employee and farmer and a member of Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church. Survivors include wife, Mrs.. Vivian Bulla Coble of the home; daughters, Mrs.. Margaret C. Burgess and Mrs.. Steve (Paulette) McPherson, both of Burlington; sons, Willard G. Coble, Ronnie G. Coble, both of Burlington, Howard F. Coble of Clearwater, Fla., and Gene Ray Coble of Alma, Ill.; brother, Joseph A. Coble of Burlington; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sister, Mrs.. Mary Alice Sharpe; and brother, Paul Coble. The family will be at the Rich and Thompson Funeral Home in Graham from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and other times they will be at the residence. Memorials may be made to Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church, 4178 Mt. Hermon-Rock Creek Road, Graham, NC 27253. References
