OBITUARY FROM BURLINGTON TIMES-NEWS: Joseph A. Coble BURLINGTON — Mr. Joseph A. Coble, 80, of 913 Stone St., died at 9:35 a.m. Sunday, April 11, 1999, at Alamance Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.

A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of the late Mrs.. Eunice Stanford Coble and Mrs.. Etta Lewis Coble, who survives. He was the son of Mr. William Monroe Coble and Mrs.. Annie Payne Coble, both deceased. He was a retired master carpenter. He was a Baptist.

Survivors other than his wife of the home include a daughter, Mrs.. Francene Coble Reeves of New London; two sons, Mr. Herman Anderson Coble of Burlington and Mr. Eddie Mon-roe Coble of Haw River; a stepson, Mr. Thurman Montgomery of Elon College; seven grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rich and Thompson Chapel in Burlington by the Rev. Max Allman of Peoples Memorial Christian Church. Burial will be in Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will be at Rich and Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 6 to 8 this evening and at other times at the home.
