BURLINGTON — Mrs. Pauline Bulla Sharpe, 96, of 1820 Brookwood Avenue, Burlington, died at Edgewood Place on Friday, June 22, 2007 at 9:05 p.m. A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Clarence Albert Sharpe and the daughter of Franklin Michaux Bulla and Margaret Ola Shoffner Bulla, both deceased. She was a member of Angier Avenue Baptist Church, Durham, N.C. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Jacksie Bulla Smith of Burlington; one brother, Mr. Ben F. Bulla and wife, June, of Graham; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Wade Sharpe; four sisters, Una Mae Bulla Graves, Ruby Bulla Maness, Vivian Bulla Coble, and Mattie Lou Bulla Capps; and three brothers, Colon M. Bulla, Raymond W. Bulla, and James L. “Jim” Bulla. The funeral will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Thursday, June 28, 2007 at 11 a.m. by the Rev. R. E. L. Moser. Burial will follow in Low’s Lutheran Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington on Thursday from 10 until 10:45 a.m. Memorials may be made to Low’s Lutheran Church, 2136 N.C. 61 South, Liberty, N.C. 27298.
