James L. Bulla June 19 PARIS, Texas — Mr. James L. “Jim” Bulla, 79, of 720 32nd Street, Northeast, Paris, Texas, died in Paris, Texas on Monday, June 18, 2007, following two weeks of declining health.

A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Franklin Michaux Bulla and Marga-ret Shoffner Bulla. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include one daughter, Linda Foster and husband, Dean, of Paris, Texas; two sons, Tim Bulla and wife, Sandy, of Randleman and John Bulla and wife, Jessica, of Burlington; five grandchildren, Justin Foster, Brent Foster, Drew Foster, Jessilyn Bulla, and Jeremy Bulla; two sisters, Pauline B. Sharpe of Burlington and Jacksie Smith of Elon; and one brother, Ben F. Bulla of Saxapahaw.

He was preceded in death by four sisters, Ruby B. Maness, Vivian B. Coble, Mattie Lou Capps, and Una Mae Graves; and two brothers, Colon M. Bulla and Raymond W. Bulla.

The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington on Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m., and at other times they will be at 709 South Sellars Mill Road, Burlington, N.C.

A graveside service will be conducted at Alamance Memorial Park on Friday, June 22, 2007 at 11 a.m.

The family would like to thank Premier Home Care and Rehabilitation for their loving care shown to our father during his illness in Paris, Texas.
