Paxton, Thomas - born 11/15/1761 in Rockbridge (then Augusta) County, Virginia; entered service 1780 in Virginia regiment; moved 1792 to Kentucky where received Pension 1842 in Franklin County; Alexander McClure made affidavit there then abt. age 78 that he served in samme company in Revolutionary War with soldier. F-S30636, R1891.
