Facts and Events
Name Thomas Hickinbottom
Gender Male
Christening[1] 4 Jun 1760 Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, England

Thomas Hickinbottom was baptised on 4th June 1760 at Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire, son of Elizabeth Hickinbottom, formerly Watts, and her husband Amor Hickinbottom, a labourer.

Thomas has yet to be definitively traced after his baptisms. There were two Thomas Hickinbottoms who married in Leighton Buzzard in the 1790 and 1791, one of which is probably him, but it is not clear which. When Thomas's brother John wrote his will in 1815 it referred to many of John's siblings, but not Thomas, perhaps suggesting that Thomas had died. There was a "Thomas Hickombottom" buried at Leighton Buzzard on 27th January 1793, but as there were clearly two Thomases who had married recently in the town there is too much uncertainty to say whether this is him.
