Jenny Hickinbottom was baptised on 13th January 1754 at Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire, daughter of Elizabeth Hickinbottom, formerly Watts, and her husband Amor Hickinbottom. Jenny has yet to be definitively traced after her baptism, although there is a fair chance that she could be the "Jane Hickombottom" who married Thomas Linney in Leighton Buzzard on 29th November 1774.
