Teresa's age is given as 26 years of age and her parents are Marcos Bernier and Carmen Girau. Witnesses were Juan Santiago and Feodoro Santiago. Felipe is shown to be a widower and his first wife's name was Josepha Maria Santini.

Halabuk, 114 Sheffield Way, Newport News, VA, 23602 - This record shows that Teresa Bernier Giraud died at 2:00 am in the morning, on 2 July, 1912, at 50 years of age, in Coamo, Puerto Rico. Parents are shown as Marcos Bernier and Carmen Teresa Santiago Bernier. The death was registered with civil authorities by Juan Santiago Torres (probably husband's brother), of Aibonito, at 11:00 am in the morning, on 2 July, 1912. Teresa was married to Felipe Santiago Torres (deceased). Cause of death was acute hepititus. A Letitia Santiago is mentioned in the record. She could be the sister of her deceased husband.
