Paternal grand parents are shown to be Pedro Matos and Rafaela Gonzalez. Maternal grand parents are shown to be Marcos Bernier and Carmen Girau(d). Federico's parents are recorded as Pedro Jose Matos and Rafaela Gonzales. Eulalia's parents are recorded as Marcos Bernier and Carmen Girau. The record shows Federico's former wife was Filomena Laborde and that this marriage was his second marriage. Witnesses were Jose Pico and Jose Ramon Ortiz. The record states her that her husband, Federico Matos was from Cartagena de Indies and Eulalia was from the parish of San Blas de Coamo. !AKA-KNICKNAME: Carmelita; "History of Coamo", Vol. I, Page 296, by Ramon Rivera Bermudez, refers to Eulalia as Carmelita Bernier de Matos.
