Correspondence from the family letters and papers of Jane Love and her cousin, Lillice Jones Harper, courtesy John, Danny, and Dave Harper in 2001 and 2004, transcribed by Brenda Boyer ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Recently, I was given information that Caroline Massey's father, Joseph NEWLAN, was also buried in the cemetery in Gridley KS. I would love to have any obits, funeral records or other hard documentation I could find. There is a dispute as to Joseph's wife's name (Caroline's mother) maiden name and I am trying to pin it down. Her first name is SARAH Newlan. I do not know if she too is buried at Gridley or not. Any help you could give me would be so appreciated. --Coffey Co., KS, queries: NEWLAN posted by Michelle Hammett <PacLadyMadonna@@webtv.net>, March 13, 2000 <http://skyways.lib.ks.us/genweb/coffey/queries/query2000jun.html>
