Mrs. T. O. Richards died in the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Eli Pretty, Tuesday morning, June 30. The services were held this morning in the Methodist Church at Kilgore, Rev. J. M. Shafer officiating. Burial was made at Kilgore. Death resulted from heart trouble. Sarah Jane Colar was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Colar and was born in Loudon Township March 15, 1861. In 1880 she was married to Otho Richards, who with the following children survive. Charles, John, James and Arthur, all of Cleveland, Bert of Los Angeles, California, Paul of Amsterdam, Mrs. Jay (Helen) Brandt of Kiglore and Mrs. Eliz (Catherine) Pretty of Carrollton. Mrs. Mary Mathay of Beaver Falls, Pa., is a surviving sister. Mrs. Richards had been a lifelong resident of Loudon Township until last September, when she came to Carrollton to pass her remaining days with her son-in-law and daughter. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
