From Chalkley’s Augusta County Records:

  • Page 29.—23d November, 1793. Robert Wilson's will, farmer—To wife, Jean; to son, Robert; to son, John; to daughter, Elizabeth; to daughter-inlaw, Margaret; daughter, Rachel; son, Thomas, and his son Robert; to daughter-in-law, Elizabeth. Executors, William Brown, Thos. Wilson, my son; John Wilson, son-in-law. Teste: Thomas, Samuel, John Brown. Proved, 22d July, 1799, by Samuel and Jno. Brown. Executors refuse. Administration granted Robert Wilson. Widow is aged, infirm, and incompetent.
