Robert Langdon appears to be a probable son of Joseph Langdon, who migrated from New York to the area of the North Branch of the Shenandoah River bordering Augusta and Frederick Counties, Virginia. "Sgt." Robert Langdon is listed in several Chalkley's records in the area. Additional research is needed to prove this suspected relationship.
