Parentage

Robert Henderson MAY be a son of Daniel Henderson of Augusta County, Virginia, who died abt. 1772. A Robert Henderson, son of Daniel is named in land records with a wife Mary, selling much of Daniel Henderson's land on Beaver and Spring Creek in 1772, apparently around the same time that Robert was reaching adulthood. This Robert Henderson, born in 1751, also would have reached adulthood in 1772 (and would have been able to sell land at age 21), and had a wife Mary, listed in Robert's Revolutionary Pension Application. Additional research is necessary to conclusively prove Robert's parentage.
