He married Elizabeth Mitchell 16 Feb 1793 in Augusta Co., VA, daughter of James Mitchell and Elizabeth Beard. She was born Abt. 1773 in Augusta Co., VA, and died Bef. 1830 in prob. Todd Co., KY.

   CALLERSON - Reuben Callerson , of Augusta County, Va., married Elizabeth Mitchell, and they settled first in Kentucky, from whence they removed to Missouri. Their children were - James, John, Robert, William, Elizabeth, Isabella, Dorothea, Nancy, Polly, Jane, Martha, Margaret and Ann. Robert, Polly, Dorothea, and Isabel came to Missouri. James married Nancy Chick, by whom he had six children. John married a Miss Lockridge, and died leaving a widow and three children. Elizabeth married Andrew Hamilton, and they both died without issue. Nancy and Martha never married. Jane married John Board, and they had three children. Ann married a Mr. Gilmore, and is now a widow.
   
   - sic, s/b Robert Callison. There is NO "Reuben Callison" listed anywhere in Chalkley's Augusta County Records. This is actually Robert Callison, son of James Callison and Isabella (Unknown).
