WOMAN IS KILLED ENROUTE TO CITY

Enroute to Warren on a vacation, Mrs. Rita Jackson of Detroit, Mich., daughter of O.N. Winans of Southington, was instantly killed in an automobile accident at Dearborn, Mich., according to Associated Press dispatches.
The dispatches stated that the car driven by Glenn Jackson, husband of the deceased, collided with another automobile and overturned several times.
Mr. Jackson and son Donald, 14, were taken to Henry Ford hospital in Detroit where their conditions are regarded as serious by hospital attaches.
Each is reported to be suffering from a fractured skull and other injuries.
The dispatches stated that witnesses said the driver of the other machine crashed a red light signal and smashed into the Jackson car.
Surviving are a daughter, Valjean Healy, and a son, Don of Detroit; her father, grandmother, three sisters of Southington, another sister in Leavittsburg, a fourth sister, Mrs. Lauren Wilson of Warren and two brothers, one of Morristown, Pa., and the other of Marietta, O., the names of whom were not revealed.
Funeral services will be conducted in Detroit Saturday. Mrs. Jackson was the former Rita Winans.

Mr. and Mrs. Glen Jackson

O.N. Winans, Elda, Corda and Helen Winans of Southington, Mr. and Mrs. George Udall, Warren township, Mr. and Mrs. Donn Winans of Marietta, and Glen Winans, Norristown, Pa., returned from Detroit Sunday where they attended the double funeral services for Mr. and Mrs. Glen Jackson who were killed in an automobile accident Wednesday at Dearborn, Mich.
Press dispatches first received here stated Mrs. Rita Jackson had been killed. Later it was learned her husband was also killed.
Donn Jackson, son of the deceased, is at Ford hospital, Detroit, recovering from injuries resulting from the accident.
