Mrs. Udall, 72, Mother Of Warren Councilman, Dies

Mrs. George P. (Lena May) Udall, 72, 576 Eagle Creek Rd, Leavittsburg, mother of Warren Councilman, George L. Udall, was pronounced dead on arrival at Trumbull Memorial Hospital at 6:20 a.m. today. Death was due to a heart attack, following a year's illness.
Born Feb. 20, 1898, in West Mecca, she was the daughter of O.N. and Cora (Scott) Winans.
A lifetime resident of Trumbull County, she was a member of First Community Church of Leavittsburg, Old Timers Band Club, Pythian Sisters of Newton Falls and a charter member of Eagle Creek Extension Club.
Survivors include her husband, George P. Udall, whom she married March 1, 1916; a daughter, Mrs. Walter (Sally) Lamson of Leavittsburg; three sons, George L. of Warren, Fourth Ward Councilman; Lyle of Cary, Ill., Carl of Uniontown, Ohio; two brothers, Donn Winans of Marietta, Glen Winans of New Castle, Pa.; three sisters, Mrs. W.R. (Corda) Free of Ashtabula, Mrs. Lauren (Georgia) Wilson of Champion Township, Miss Helen Winans of Kingsville; and 12 grandchildren.
Services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Robert H. Roberts Memorial Home. Burial will be in Crown Hill Burial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Pythian Sisters will conduct services at 6:45 p.m.
