Miss Elda Nadine Winans

Miss Elda N. Winans, 48, died at home in Southington Township of complications. She was born March 21, 1891, in Mecca, the daughter of O.N. and Cora (Scott) Winans. Formerly of Lordstown, Miss Winans has lived in Southington for the past nine years.
The deceased had many impersonal interests and a large circle of friends and acquaintances. She was a member of Southington Grange, of the Garden and Welfare Clubs, and active in all of them. She was a member of Southington Christian Church and formerly a member of Tower Girls' Class of the Second Christian Church, Warren.
Miss Winans leaves her father, four sisters, Mrs. George Udall and Mrs. Lauren [Georgia Ann] Wilson, Leavittsburg; Helen and Corda, at home; two brothers, D.M. Winans, Marietta, and Glen Winans of Wilkes-Barre, Pa.; and her grandmother, Mrs. Anna Scott of Southington,
Friends may call at the home in Southington any time after late this afternoon. The funeral will be held at the W.J. White Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Interment will be in West Mecca Cemetery.

Miss Elda Winans

Funeral services for Miss Elda Winans of Southington were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the W.J. White Funeral Home, Rev. W.L. Burner officiating. Interment was made in West Mecca Cemetery. The pallbearers were: Roy Hatch, Grant Mesmer, Samuel McCracken, Calvin Leiby, Clarence Warner and Walter Davidson.
