• At the death of Ralph's brothers, Dempsey and Henry in July 1926, Ralph was living in Martinsville. When his father died in 1927 he lived in Bedford, then listed as living in South Bend in 1931 when his mother passed. At brother Sam's death in 1942, he lived in Monrovia At his death in 1951 he lived northeast of Martinsville on State Road 39.

RALPH NEAL, 51, DIES SUNDAY

  Ralph C. Neal, 51, who lived northeast of Martinsville on State Road 39, died Sunday night at 9 o'clock after an illness of two years.
  The son of Robert and Mary E. Scales Neal, he was born in Morgan County Nov. 28, 1899.  He had been a farmer for many years and was unmarried.
  Surviving him are three sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Martha McKee of 239 Second Street, Mrs. Jane Long of R. R. 3, Mrs. Dot Howell of Bedford, Frank Neal of Lake Valley, and Robert Neal of Mooresville.
  Funeral services will be held at Wilhite and Son Chapel Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock, with burial in South Park.  Friends may call after 7 o'clock this evening at the funeral home.
