Thanks for responding to the email...I pretty much have the family of James Campbell who married Sarah Seat. He was the son of Patrick Campbell who married Ann Ware in Rockbridge Co. Va. When Patrick died,(James was a small child) Ann later married David Hay. This family moved to Nashville TN and it was there that David died on an Indian raid. I descend from James and Sarah Seat Campbell's daughter, Sophronia Campbell...sister of the William P. Campbell you mentioned. Ann Hay's probate is in Davidson County and is an interesting read. What I am trying to unravel is the family of Patrick Campbell. He was the son of James Campbell, who was the eldest son of Gilbert Campbell. Because there were two James Campbell's in the area of about the same age, past researchers have mixed the families and had wrong kids with the wrong parents. This has made researching difficult. I am trying to find each of Gilbert Campbell's children and grandchildren.. Isabelle was a sister of Patrick and I don't know what happened to her. I found Gilbert's son George in Woodford Co KY. Still trying to "flesh"out the family.
