Acquisition of Land from Northern Neck Warrants & Surveys:

  • Northern Neck Survey: Nicholas Long, 4 Jan 1749/50 - 5 Feb 1749/50; 450 acres on Stony Run joyning the mountain. Chain carriers, Matthias Selser & Paul Long___? (faded). Surv. George Hume.   • Northern Neck Survey: Nicholas Long, son & assignee of Phillip Long, 22 Aug 1749 - 26 Sep 1749; 400 a. joyning the lower line of Phillip Longs patented land. Chain carriers, Jacob Rodecap & Rudy Mock. Surv. George Hume. From warrant, "I assign over the witnin warrant to my sone Nicholas Long..." German signature of Philip Long.
