    Mrs. Mary Olive Heidy, 87, who had resided with a son, Donald Heidy of Dellroy, died last Thursday in the Carroll County Hospital, where she had been a patient for one month. Born February 8, 1882, in Perry Twp., she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Margaret Ann (Bustler) Slates. Mrs. Heidy was a member of Dellroy United Presbyterian Church. Her husband, Elmer Heidy, died in 1938. Surviving are two sons, Don and Ralph, both of Dellroy; a daughter, Mrs. Scott (Nora) Thorley of Rt. 1, Sherrodsville; two brothers, George Slates of Carrollton and Charles Slates of Akron; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. A son, Doyle, and two sisters are deceased. Services were Sunday at the Sweeney Funeral Home here with Rev. Gene Toot officiating. Burial was in Leavittsville Cemetery.
