In 1861 they lived at Wellshott House, Cambuslang, Lanarkshire, with their children and Thomas GRAY BUCHANAN, visitor, (b.1788 Barony, job- stock exchange?), and John GRAY BUCHANAN, brother in law, retired merchant (b. 1785, Port Glasgow) (1861 ce). Scottish archives have a will of Mary Rowand Buchanan or Gray, widow of Thomas Gray Buchanan of Scotstoun, merchant, Glasgow, d. 10may1888 at Wellshot House.
