See Lorenzo N. Braught obit. for Luzetta death data. She was then (Dec.1916) living in Oswego, KS. See Warren Co.,IA Courthouse Marriage Records showing Braught, L.M. to James White (license 7 Aug 1856). This license date seems to be in contrast to data of marriage as 8 May 1861, but it could have been a 5 yrs. engagement. Family called her Mary. Deed books show James White and Luzetta M. White selling land to Samuel M. Braught.

  Hint that she had a #2 husband named Green needs research (see below). Also need to verify that there were no children.

Connie McGruder has photo of Jim and Mary White at Dublin, Indian Territory -no date. Bea Romine (Wichita visit 20 Jul 1997) mentioned a second husband Green also, but also mentioned not certain of facts on that. Mary's grave stone next to husband James White (Pleasant Hill Cem. Oswego, KS) suggests that probably neither had a second marriage . Grave stone photos were taken by me when there 17 Jul 1997. Stone engraving is, " Mary Luzetta White, May 30, 1842 age 80 yrs 11 mo." I calculated the date from that inscription, which would make her 16 yrs younger than James T. Also, just above her stone site was a small stone engraved Bobby Lee Campbell, Sept 25, 1938 stillborn (clearly not her child, but could likely be a nephew or other Campbell relative, etc.).
