This James T. White is the husband of Mary Luzetta, an aunt to Cloyd Godfrey who is husband of Sarah E. White, the dau. of another James White. Even the computer program had difficulty keeping this connection clear, so I inserted the middle "name" of (Dad) to help some until better ident. was verified. Pleasant Hill Cem. stone had standard metal star of 1861-1865 veteran and gave dates of 1826-1911 with age 85y 6m. 16d. Next to stone for Mary Luzetta, wife. A newer plate over old plate gave name as James T. White, so I substituted that for previous (Dad). Also stone there says Mary Luzetta White instead of Luzetta Mary, so I reversed previous order. Above his stone was a small stone: George Gilbert Elliott Feb 28,1921 - Dec. 15, 1921. I currently have no idea to what family this child belonged, but stone location suggests some relation. See the original photo of two couples and 2 children with horses in front of two story white frame house -- on back Ester Lucretia Braught had written "Uncel Jim and Aunt Marry White", but exact identity was not written. I assumed that the older folks were Jim and Mary with one child and spouse with two grandchildren. He was obviously proud of the fine-looking horses and nice home.
