  • Vol. 2 - List of Delinquents: 1766--Captain Smith's list: Martin Humble, Constable, one.
  • Vol. 2 - Page 418.--Daniel (mark) Cummins petitions that for 3 years he has been a charge to William Picken, who now asks to be reimbursed. Witnesses present, viz: Jno. Thomas, Ruide Mauk, James Cahoon, James Thomas, Jno. Dunbarr, Jno. Gratton, Michael Hauber, Jno. Miller, Thos. Bryan, George Weese, Martin Humble, Jno. Jackson, Skidmore Monsey, Francis Monsey.
  • Vol. 1 - AUGUST 19, 1777. - (215) Following recommendations: Anthony Reader, as Captain, vice Adam Reader; Thomas Boggs, as Captain, vice Martin Humble; William Lowderson (West Fork), as Captain; Benj. Wilson (Tygers Valley), as Captain; Robert Shaw, as Second Lieutenant, and Richard Madison, as Ensign, in Capt. Thomas Smith's Company. (Note: some sources claim that this Martin Humble died prior to August 1777, but that was more likely the Uncle of this Martin, since the Uncle would have been too old to have military service in 1777).
