OBITUARY

Parmalia Monet(Wife of Louis) March 30, 1911 Oswego Palladium:

After a four day illness with pneumonia, Mrs. Monet, widow of the late Louis, died at the family home, 75 East Seneca St, shortly before noon today.

She was born in Montreal, canada 66 years ago but came to this city 40 years ago. Mrs. Monet was a devout member of St. Louis Church and also the St. Ann Society. Besides being a devoted mother she was also a diligent church worker and did much to promote the afairs of the St. Ann Society of which she was a member.

She was a highly esteemed woman and enjoyed the friendship of a large circle of friends and neighbors by whom the news of her death will be received with much regret. Surviving are 3 daughters: Mrs. Joseph Perkins - Oswego; Mrs. Agnes Archambeault - Auburn,NY; and Mrs. Milton Mclain of Syracuse, NY; 3 sons: Fostor, Albert and Dolor, and 1 sister, Mrs. Louis Valade, all of Oswego.

Funeral held: April 3, 1911 Reverand Chavin presiding. Pall bearers: Gilbert Thompson, Edward Martell, Albert Murray, Joseph LaTulip, Joseph Tupin and James Lattimore.

There was a large turn out including many friends and neighbors and the complete St. Ann Society.
