When Dolor died he had lived in Daly City, CA for 15 years.(1912 - 1927) He lived at 384 Winchester Street when he died.

    Copies of the San Francisco Examiner for Monday, July 18, received here -

carry details of the death of Dolor Monette, former well known Oswegonian, who was a victim of an auto accident in that city on the day before.

    The article says:
    "One man was instantly killed and another died later at the Mission Emergency Hospital as the result of an automobile accident at 22nd and Arkansas streets yesterday afternoon.
    The dead:

MONETTE, DOLOR, 184 Winchester street, Daly City. THAR GEORGE, who lived in the 300 block, Hillcrest Drive, Daly City

    "Arthur Alviso, who also lives at 184 Winchester street, Daly City was driving the car, and he escaped with minor cuts and bruises.
    "According to Alviso's story, he took a vacant lot for the continuation of 22nd

street, and not until it was too late to turn did he realize that the street curved there. Both Thar and Monette were thrown clear of the car which crashed through a fence and hurtled over a 25 foot embankment, turning a complete somersault in the air.

    Mr. Monette was buried in the National Cemetery at the Presidio, San Fransisco, with military honors.
