Maragrate Kamer Services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church for Mrs. Maragrate Kamer, 91, who died Tuesday at her home, 226 N. Chandler. She was born Dec. 16, 1872, at Pfeiffer, Russia, and moved to the United States and to Topeka 74 years ago. Her husband, John P. Kamer, who was the owner of Kaw Valley Nursery in Topeka, died in 1951.
Survivors include four sons, John C Kamer, at home, Anthony Kamer, 205 Freeman, Albert Kamer, 1412 Lincoln, and Joseph Kamer, Topeka; three daughters, Mrs Anna M Holzmeister, Chicago, Mrs. Catherine Hefner, 429 Arter, and Mrs. Mollie Desch, 822 Madison; 25 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today at Brennan Funeral Home.
The body will lie in state from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
