    Joseph P. Kamer, 72, 2826 Iowa, died Thursday, Dec. 27 at a Topeka hospital where he was admitted Dec. 18.

    Mr. Kamer was a custodian at Mann Theaters in Topeka before he retired.

    He was born Aug. 19, 1912 at Topeka, the son of John P. and Margaretha Hefner Kamer.

    He was married to Fannie E. Meakins Oct. 29, 1938 in Topeka. She survives.

    Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Mille Desch, Topeka, and Mrs. Emma Holtzmeister, Chicago; and a brother, John Kamer, Topeka.

    Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday on the Topeka Cemetery patio. Burial will be in Topeka Cemetery. Mr. Kamer will lie in state from noon today until 1 p.m. Monday at Tibbitts-Griffin Highland Chapel.
