Obituary

Julia Anne Stone Julia Anne Edwards, daughter of Jeremiah and Elizabeth Edwards, was born near Woodlawn, Virginia, October 6th, 1857, and departed this life November 19, 1944, at the age of 87 years, 1 month and 13 days. She was married to LeGrand Stone December 12, 1878. To this union ten children were born, all living today. She moved with her family to Caldwell county, Mo., in March 1904, where she resided until the time of her departure. In her younger years she united with the Church of Christ at Glade Creek, Virginia, and has been a faithful Christian during her lifetime. She was a kind , loving mother and her memory will be cherished by those who knew her, for her kindly manner and thoughtfulness of others. She leaves to mourn her departure her ten children: Mrs. John Hall of Kingston, Craig of Cowgill, Lee of Wray, Colorado, Fred of Braymer, Mrs. Albert Houghton of Kingston, Moreau Sone of the home, Mrs. W. L. Robb of Chicago, Mrs. Leona Goodnow of Seattle, Wash., George of Wray, Colorado, and Edward of Hamilton, and twenty-eight grandchildren and twnty-four great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. T. J. Edwards of Radford, Virginia, and a host of relatives and friends. She passed away just as she had lived, quietly and peacefully. The funeral service was held at the Church of Christ in Hamilton on Tuesday afternoon of last week.
