Celebration: 1934 CELEBRATED BIRTHDAY (unidentified newspaper clipping) The Stone family met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Goodnow of Braymer, Sunday, October 7, in honor of Mrs. LeGrand Stone's 77th birthday. Mrs. Goodnow is a daughter of Mrs. Stone. A bountiful one o'clock dinner was served by Mrs. Goodnow and her sister, Mrs. W. L. Robb. The table was decorated in pink and white, the center piece being a huge angel food cake on which the number "77" was outlined in tiny pink candles. Immediately after dinner the family presented gifts and extended wishes to Mrs. LeGrand Stone for many more happy birthdays. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. LeGrand Stone and daughter, Moreau of Hamilton; Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Robb, Chicago, Ill,; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Stone, Cowgill; Mr. and Mrs. George Stone, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stone and family, Braymer; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Houghton and family, Miss Marguerite Otto, Miss Leah Hall, Mr. H. F. Esteb, Kingston, Miss Elizabeth Houghton, Mirable; Mr. and Mrs. John Hall and family, Hamilton. References
