• Page 787.--2d March, 1766. Same (From William Graham and Priscilla) to Joseph Robinson, £100, 236 acres, part of 600 acres conveyed to William by Jno. Mills, 3d August, 1753, on Buffalo Creek; corner Israel Christian, formerly Daniel McCormick's, Delivered: Cap. Thos. Madison, 22d October, 1770. (Note: William Graham was the brother-in-law of Joseph Robinson)

• Page 249.--13th May, 1767. Joseph Robinson to Edward Springer, £200, 190 acres by patent to said Joseph, 20th September, 1748, on the waters of Rone Oak, joining land formerly George Robinson's, on Buffalo Creek; corner Coleses land. Teste: Samuel Pepper, Thomas Lloyd.

Joseph and David Robinson and Edward McDonald appraised ye improvements and value of the stock on ye four sundry tracts of lands belonging to Joshua Hadley, and his expenses in coming to Virginia and moving his family there. 115-acre tract, called ye Half Moone, £23, 0, 0. 186-acre tract, called Long Bottom, £30, 0, 0. 400-acre tract at mouth of Craig's Creek, £44, 0, 0. 50-acre tract, called ye Pound Bottom, £10, 0, O. For six weeks' journey in coming to and going from Virginia, at 5 sh. per day, £10, 10, 0. For coming with his wagon, stock and family, six weeks at 20 sh. per day, £42, 0, O. Total, £159, 10, 0.

• Page 19.--13th March, 1754. Valuation of improvements on four tracts of Joshua Hadley and his expenses in coming to Virginia and moving his family there: 115-acre tract, called the Halfmoon; 186-acre tract, called Long Bottom; 400-acre tract at mouth of Craig's Creek; 50-acre tract, called Pound Bottom; 6 weeks' journey in coming to and going from Virginia at 5 shillings per day. To coming with his wagon stock and family six weeks at 26 shillings per day. By Joseph Robinson, David Robinson, Edmund McDonald.

• Page 349.--29th May, 1761. David Cloyd, Sr., to David Cloyd, Jr., £20, 400 acres on a south branch of Cedar Creek. Teste: Joseph Robinson, James Cloyd, George Alexander.

• Page 272.--19th March, 1763. George Robinson's will--Wife, Martha; eldest sons, James and Samuel, to clothe and school all the younger children; younger sons, George and William, infants, to be bound to trades; eldest daughter. Sarah; daughters, Catherine, Priscilla, Martha, under 18. Executors, wife and sons James and Samuel. Teste: William Preston, Wm. Graham, Jos. Robinson, Jno. Robinson, Francis Graham. Proved, 25th June, 1763, by Wm. Preston, Wm. Graham, Joseph Robinson. Executors qualify, with Joseph Robinson, Wm. Graham. (Note: George Robinson was the older brother of Joseph).

John Cloyd's estate settlement and vendue bill recorded--1759, 24th November, 2 gallons brandy for ye vendue; 1760, 27th December, 5 shillings paid Francis Lewis (Lever?); 1761, paid for making a coat for James; 1761, 14th April, cash paid widow Gatlive; 1761, 6th April, cash to Joseph Robinson; 1763, 11th August, paid Robert Pepper, Jno. Armstrong for making 3 pair Suse; amount of necessary bought for children; 1759, 29th November, sold to Jas. Cloyd, Jr.--John Cloyd Settled by David Cloyd, administrator.

• Page 411.--20th August, 1765. Mary Magdalene Kimberland's bond (with Jos. Robinson) as administratrix of Jacob Kimberland.

• Page 431.--6th August, 1767. William Graham to his son Francis Graham, £100, 364 acres on Buffelo Creek of Rone Oak and in a fork of same adjoining Israel Christian, William Carvin and Joseph Robinson, part of 845 acres patented to James Patton. 3d November, 1750, oak in the Barrens; corner said Israel Christian, formerly Joshua McCormick's; oak on Carvin's Creek, fork of Buffelo Creek; corner 236 acres deeded to Joseph Robinson. 7. JOSEPH ROBINSON b ca 1708 md Mary. On 16 Aug 1748 David Robinson of Mill Creek Hundred & Annable his wife sell Robinsons Mill to William Roe for 200 pounds. In the deed recital Joseph & Mary his wife conveyed unto John Robinson on 18 Aug 1742 all his right to said Mill & Mill lot. (Bk Y, pg 401) Believe he is the Joseph Robinson who went to Augusta Co., VA. and purchased land there.
