By which settlement it appeared that said deponent's part in said mess amounted to £5.10.0, which he desired Skelton to charge to him and that he would settle with him for it, which Skelton agreed to. After which the deponent always looked upon himself accountable to Mr. Heath for the charge, and that Captain Blagg did not charge said deponent with the above sum in his accounts on their settlement, and further saith not. (Signed) David Long.
