- Henderson, Joseph - entered service 1780 in Augusta County, Virginia, where born; moved in 1787 from Virginia to Tennessee, thence in 1826 to Illinois, thence in 1832 to Barry County, Missouri, thence to Van Buren County, Missouri, where applied for pension in 1840; Pension Application Rejected, less than 6 months service; query letter in file states soldier buried in Bloomington, Indiana. F-R4872, R1252.
