- Page 1.--Robert Willson, in Shanadore in Virginia, will dated 3d November, 1745. Wife, Jane; estate except such as is nominated of the hole head to son John. Son, John; daughter, Jannet Holmes, 20 shillings; daughter, Catrin Bell, 20 shillings; nephew (?), Robert Holmes; daughters, Elizabeth, Jane, Frances. Executors, Wm. Long and James Alexander. Teste: Jno. Patterson, Gabriel Holmes, James Bell. Proved, 11th February, 1745, by John Patterson. Proved, 16th April, 1745, by Gabriel Holmes.
- Page 3.--John Wilson qualifies administrator, c. t. a., of above, with sureties, viz: Robert Cunningham and Wm. Henderson, 11th February 1745.
- Page 143.--4th December, 1753. Joseph Tees' will. To sons, William and Charles, plantation and negroes. Wife. Charles is 16 years old. To daughter Mary, the place bought from John Wilson; to daughter Eleanor and her children, the place bought from James Hamilton. Executors, wife, overseer, Wm. Henderson. Teste: John Campbell, Andrew Campbell, Walter Sorals. Proved, 17th March, 1756, by John and Andrew Campbell, and Jane Tees qualifies executrix, with sureties Wm. Henderson, John Campbell.

Cunningham. Samuel Love, Walter Davis, Robert ( ) Crawford. Delivered to Samuel Culwell.
- Page 461.--21st May, 1766. Joseph Love and Mary, one of the daughters of Joseph Tees, deceased, and William Tees, eldest son and heir of Joseph Tees, to Samuel Caldwell, late of the Province of Pennsylvania, but now of County of Augusta. Joseph Tees devised to his daughter Mary Love, by the name of Mary, the place he bought of John Wilson during her life, &c., if she lived thereon, but she revomed, and the wdow, thinking the title descended to her, conveyed it to said Joseph Love, her son-in-law, and he to Samuel Caldwell, now then is in doubt whether the widow could convey. To remove that doubt this conveyance is made. £5 to Joseph and £10 to William, 400 acres in Beverley Manor on Shenandoah River. Teste: William Wright, Robert Thomson, William Karr. Delivered: Caldwell, November, 1767.
