The remainder of my personal estate to be divided between my sons John, William B., George, Samuel, and Jesse McCrone 12. Indenture, 30 March 1832 Between John McCrone the younger and Hannah his wife of the Hundred and County of New Castle, Delaware and Edward Tatnall of Brandywine hundred in the County of New Castle Whereas the said John McCrone the younger is bound unto the said Edward Tatnall in the Sum of Seven thousand two hundred dollars lawful money upon a Condition to pay to the said Edward Tatnall the sum of three thousand six hundred dollars with legal interest from the date [of the bond] and the whole to be paid one year later Security for the loan: All that Plantation and Tract of land in New Castle Hundred Bounded by the Public road leading from Wilmington to Clarks Corner by land of John Peach and by a Tract of land of James Riddle called Belmont . . . containing eighty acres more or less and also all that other tract situated adjacent to the Plantation of land aforesaid Beginning . . . at a corner of land belonging to James Riddle called Belmont south . . . . to a new line dividing the land hereby conveyed from land of James Riddle, thence by the same line passing through a Tract called Woodsborough . . . to the road leading from Wilmington to Clarkes corner through Eve's lane to the Wilmington and New Castle Road thence by the said road . . . thence North across the road . . . by land of John Peach . . . containing 59 acres three roods and 33 perches of land more or less The above said Parcels conveyed to John McCrone by James Riddle and wife 28 March 1832 Signed John McCrone, Hannah McCrone Witness Geo.
