    On the 16th of March 1857, produced in Court, an autheticated copy of the will of John McCrone late of New Castle Hundred, New Castle county, Delaware, having been authenticated in the State of Delaware having reference to lands in Astabula County
    Will of John McCrone, New Castle Hundred, New Castle County, Delaware
    1. to my daughter Margaret Brady $250
    2. To my grandson John McCrone Wilson, son of my dau Eliza Wilson, $700 when he arrives at the age of 21
    3. To the Trustees of the Bethel Meeting House $100
    4. To my black woman Sally Ann Miller her freedom at my decease plus $30 to be paid by my Executors when they think she is in need of same
    5. to my son Samuel McCrone one bed and bedding
    6. To my dau Jane B. Smith, one bed and bedding, 3 tablespoons marked with my name, my gold watch, one mahogany Rocking Chair and one mahogany work stand
    7. to my dau Sally McCrone one bed and bedding and three tablespoons marked with my name
    8. To dau Jane B. Smith and Sally McCrone their heirs and assigns the farm on which I now resided called Belle View to be equally divided, the New Castle common farm now occupied by Aaron Stoops to Sally and the remaining half to Jane
    9. To my son Jesse McCrone my black boy Harry till he arrives at the age of 28, and he is to be taught to read
    10. To my son John McCrone my black boy Wesley till he arrives at the age of 28, and he is to be taught to read
    11. The remainder of my personal estate to be divided between my sons John, William B., George, Samuel, and Jesse McCrone
    12. My Real Estate in Cleveland and Jefferson, Ohio and at the City of Washington to be sold by my sons when they think best, the sum received to pay legacies above, the remainder to my said five sons equally, the share for Samuel to be retained by the executors and invested until he is married or engaged in business
    Lastly, sons John McCrone and William B. McCrone to be Executors
