- 18 January 1821; Virginia House of Delegates - A petition of Archibald Murray of the county of Montgomery, was, on motion, taken up, and read, praying for reasons therein stated, the passage of a law vesting in him the Commonwealth's right to a tract of land in the County of Botetourt, and certain lots in the town of Greenville, in the same county, of which a certain John Gofford, an Alien, died seised.
